Give your AI the customer context it's been missing.

Plug structured, real-time customer signals into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Glean, or Cursor, so your AI actually understands your customers.

What if every AI answer was grounded in what your customers actually said?

Today, your AI tools are only as smart as what you feed them. They know your docs, your tickets, your spreadsheets — but they're flying blind on the voice of your customer. Birdie's MCP connector changes that. In seconds, your AI gets live access to unified, structured customer intelligence across every channel — reviews, NPS, support, research — ready to reason over.

Three steps to customer-fluent AI

No engineering required. Connect in minutes and start asking questions your team has always needed answers to.

Connect your AI tool

Install the Birdie MCP connector from the Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Glean, or Cursor settings. Authenticate with your Birdie account via OAuth — done in under two minutes.

Birdie surfaces your customer intelligence

Your AI tool gains secure, real-time access to Birdie's unified customer data layer — structured themes, sentiment signals, verbatims, trends, and metrics across every feedback source your organisation has connected.

Ask anything. Get customer truth.

Query across all your customer feedback in natural language. Get instant, grounded answers — backed by real evidence from your customers, not hallucinations from training data.

What your team will actually ask

Move from aligned priorities to execution, tracking progress and proving the business impact of every initiative.

Voice of Customer

"What are the top 5 complaints this month? Show me the verbatims."

Birdie's query_feedback surfaces ranked themes with supporting evidence. No more digging through spreadsheets or surveying your CSMs for gut feelings.

Trend Analysis

"Show me NPS trends over the last 6 months, broken down by segment."

Time-based analysis with segment filtering — the kind of view that used to take a data analyst half a day to pull together.

Product Discovery

"Find negative feedback about onboarding from enterprise customers in Q1."

Multi-filter queries across sentiment, topic, segment, and time. Turn qualitative signals into a prioritised product backlog — fast.

CX Operations

"Compare satisfaction scores across all our data sources — support tickets, reviews, and NPS."

Cross-channel benchmarking in a single prompt. See where your CX is strong and where it's breaking down, without stitching spreadsheets together.

Competitive Intel

"What do customers say they wish we had, that they've found elsewhere?"

Extract competitive signals from organic customer feedback across reviews and open-text responses — the ones your competitors can't see.

Executive Briefing

"Prepare a customer health brief for the board: sentiment, top pain points, and emerging risks this quarter."

Turn your entire feedback corpus into a boardroom-ready narrative — on demand, in seconds, backed by the impact score breakdown by area.

Not just data. A customer context layer.

There's a meaningful difference between connecting your AI to raw feedback and connecting it to structured, trustworthy customer intelligence.

All your feedback, unified

Birdie aggregates signals from reviews, NPS, CSAT, support tickets, in-product surveys, and research interviews into one structured layer. Your AI reasons over the full picture, not fragments.

Structured, not just scraped

Raw feedback is noisy. Birdie pre-structures it into areas, opportunities, segments, and impact scores — so your AI retrieves clean, meaningful context instead of hallucinating patterns from noise.

Secure by design

Birdie MCP uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your data stays in Birdie's secure infrastructure. The connector gives AI tools read-only, scoped access — every request is authenticated and tied to your organisation only.

What is MCP, and why does it matter?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that allows AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to securely connect to external data sources in real time. Instead of copy-pasting feedback into a prompt window, MCP gives your AI a live, structured feed of customer data — so every answer is grounded in real evidence, not just training data or whatever you happened to paste in.

Which AI tools are supported today?

Birdie's MCP connector works with any MCP-compatible client. Supported today: Claude (claude.ai and Claude Code CLI), Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Glean. Any client that supports OAuth 2.1 can connect using the server URL https://app-api.birdie.ai/mcp.

How does authentication work?

Birdie MCP uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE — you sign in with your regular Birdie account. When you connect, you're redirected to the Birdie login page. After signing in, your MCP client receives an access token automatically. Your organisation is resolved from your account, so the AI only sees your data. Sessions may expire periodically — your client will prompt you to re-authenticate when needed.

What data does the AI have access to?

The AI gets read-only access to your Birdie workspace — customer themes, sentiment trends, verbatim quotes, feedback volume, segments, areas, opportunities, and impact metrics across your connected data sources. It cannot write to or modify any data in Birdie. All queries are automatically scoped to your organisation — the AI never sees data from other Birdie customers.

How long does setup take?

Under five minutes for Claude (claude.ai). Open Settings → Connectors, add the server URL https://app-api.birdie.ai/mcp, authenticate, and you're live. Cursor and CLI setups take slightly longer but require no engineering — just a config file or a single terminal command.

How does the AI know what to query?

Birdie's MCP server includes a get_schema tool that tells the AI which fields, metrics, and filter values are available before it runs any queries. This means the AI plans its queries accurately rather than guessing — you'll often see it call schema and taxonomy tools automatically in the background before answering complex questions. This is expected behaviour, not a performance issue.

Do I need a Birdie account?

Yes — the MCP connector surfaces intelligence from your Birdie workspace, so you need an active Birdie account with your feedback sources connected. If you're not a customer yet, request a demo to see it in action with your own data.
