Birdie was founded in 2018 by four serial entrepreneurs with experience in Artificial Intelligence, Marketing Technology, and Data Analysis, with the purpose of amplifying the voice of consumers in their relationship with brands, allowing companies to improve their customers’ shopping and consumption journey.
Alex Hadade, CEO & Co-Founder
Alex founded Arizona, a leading Latin America martech company in 1998 serving clients in more than 25 countries. In his 20 years leading Arizona, Alex became an international Endeavor mentor and entrepreneur and won several entrepreneurship awards, such as CNBC’s 20 most innovative executives in LATAM and EY Entrepreneur of the year in 2007 and 2017.
Patrícia Osorio, CRO & Co-Founder
After graduating in both Law and BA in USP and FGV, two Ivy League Universities in Latin America, Pat joined Arizona in 2007 to take care of Product Marketing & Business Development and soon became a partner. She was responsible for opening branches and selling to Fortune 500 clients in 6 countries including Colombia and the UK. She also co-founded 2 other startups and an Angel Investment group and actively supports and mentors entrepreneurship, female-led, and LGBTQIA+ groups.
Everton Cherman, CTO & Co-Founder
Everton has more than 12 years of experience with Machine Learning, Data Crawling, and AI. He graduated in Computer Science from the Unioeste and with his Ph.D. in AI at USP he became the youngest Ph.D. of Brazil, after that he also did a post-doc in NLP and Machine Learning. Everton sold an artificial intelligence company - Onion Menu - in late 2017 before joining Birdie.
Rodrigo Pantigas, CPO & Co-Founder
Pants is a self-taught professional who learned how to code and build products by himself while working at a company acquired by Arizona in 2008. After working and managing technology and infrastructure projects for companies like Santander, Carrefour, Coca-Cola, and Danone, he became the Head of Product at Visto, Arizona’s digital platform.
Ted Clark, COO
Throughout Clark's career, he has worked with class-defining brands like Amazon, AT&T, Converse, CVS, Disney, HP, Kellogg’s, Nestle, P&G, PepsiCo, and Walmart. Most recently, as Toluna’s SVP of Client Solutions, Clark led the company’s digital product sales engineering and customer success verticals, developing growth strategy initiatives and custom innovation.
Andrea Hiranaka, Insights Product Director
Since early in her career, Andrea got interested in using online consumer-generated content for insights. So she went back and forth between market research firms and social listening companies. As the Global Implementation Director in Social Intelligence Analytics at Ipsos, she supported the implementation of the practice in 20 markets and ensured the development of the talent and training roadmap to guarantee a coherent deployment of the offer worldwide.
Cadu Chiba, Consumer Insights Director
Cadu spent part of his career working in Market Research Institutes and another significant part in large FMCG companies. In his experiences in companies, he went through Consumer Insights leadership roles at Grupo Pão de Açúcar, AB Inbev, and BRF. He was also responsible for opening MMR's local office in Brazil with the challenge of disseminating the company's culture and expanding its client base and projects.
